The City of Ketchikan announced Friday that the right southbound lane on Front Street downtown will be closed for several months starting Friday afternoon.
The closure will allow crews to resume demolition and construction work on the Berth II wooden dock. This year marks the second phase of the city’s dock replacement project. The Ketchikan Visitors Bureau building will be removed this winter.
KVB staff members have moved into the former Legislative Information Office at 50 Front Street, Suite 203. The LIO’s new office is at the White Cliff Building.
