Council nixes SEAPA study

The Ketchikan City Council reversed it’s previous decision to join Wrangell in conducting a SEAPA feasibility study.  The Council approved a donation of services to help develop a skate park.  Mayor Lew Williams III gives details.  Council050313

Ketchikan hosts high school music festival

Thunder Mountain Jazz Band performs in the Kayhi auditorium.
Around 500 young musicians from all over Southeast Alaska brought their instruments and voices to Ketchikan last weekend for Music Festival. It’s an event that rotates between Ketchikan, Juneau, and Sitka each year. more
