In the Garden
Hopefully, I’ll be putting the garden to bed in the next week. Thought that it would get done this past weekend, but the bees showed up-lots of bees- and it seemed that the right thing to do was to leave the bees alone in their work. Many vegetables in the garden bolted /flowered this last month, hence the bees.
All the carrots are harvested and the celery is just about ready to harvest, too. Lettuces and chard are going into the garden for the fall planting along side the kale. All of these plants like cooler weather.
Now, we wait patiently for the new garlic bulbs to arrive.
