Two people, Conan Steele and Matthew Tibbles, submitted applications for the open seat on the Ketchikan Gateway Borough School Board.
The application period closed at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The applicants will be interviewed by the School Board next Wednesday, March 25th at 5:30 p.m. preceding its regular meeting. Public comment regarding the applicants will be heard during the meeting or may be submitted to the Superintent Office prior to the meeting.
The seat became vacant when Colleen Scanlon resigned.
The School Board could appoint a new School Board member during next Wednesday’s meeting.
