This weekend The Ketchikan Arts and Humanities Council hosted the 40th annual Blueberry Arts Festival. The festival kicked off on Friday with the Pet and Doll Parade and Gigglefeet Dance Festival. Vendor booths opened on Saturday, and the block party began with a fun run and continued with both a slug weigh in and race. Competitions continued throughout the day with a pie eating contest, talent show and other festivities such as a homemade instrument parade. KRBD has this audio postcard from Main Street.
