There were no deaths Monday night after a trailer in Craig caught fire and burned.

Craig City Clerk Kassi Bateman said city police received a report of the fire at about 6:30 p.m. Police and EMS were dispatched to the trailer, located on Fourth Street.

“One adult male was pulled from the trailer before the trailer was fully engulfed in flames, and he was transported to Alicia Roberts Medical Center,” she said. “The fire was put out and the matter it still under investigation.”

There have been two other fires in the area in the past week. One was just outside of Craig and the other was in nearby Klawock.

The causes of those fires also are not yet known.
