A 27-year-old Hydaburg woman died Sunday in a wooded area near Klawock on Prince of Wales Island.
According to the online Alaska State Troopers dispatch, Troopers learned of the woman’s death a little after 5 p.m. Sunday. The woman has been tentatively identified as Judylee Guthrie, and next of kin were notified.
The body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Anchorage for an autopsy and to confirm the identification. This is an ongoing investigation.
