National Girl Scout Cookie Day
Date: February, 8th 2013 1:00 am - 11:00 pm
Girl Scouts has named February 8 National Girl Scout Cookie Day in celebration of its $790million cookie program — the largest girl-led business in the world. Girls across the nation will be asking their 50 million cookie fans to order more cookie boxes in recognition of the important role the cookie program plays in teaching girls skills that help them become successful leaders in business and their communities. Ketchikan Girl Scouts learn five skills girls by selling cookies — money management, goal setting, decision making, business ethics, and people skills.
