Established in 1976, KRBD-FM is Ketchikan’s only public radio station. We are a non-profit organization and we are owned by our members. The heart of the community radio station is its approximately 50 volunteers, who produce a variety of music shows that offer up everything from classical, jazz, folk, blues to rock. KRBD is a major source for local, state, national and world news. We are proud to say that 36 percent of the station’s programming is dedicated to news and public affairs.
