Celebration 2016 is taking place in Juneau June 8th through 11th. It is one of the largest gatherings of Southeast Alaska Native people, with four days of traditional song and dance, food, arts and crafts, regalia and more. A canoe from Ketchikan arrived at Celebration Wednesday.
The canoe is the Haida Copper Bird Canoe family from Ketchikan, Alaska. They have pullers from Hydaburg, Old Massett, Angoon, Hoonah, Seattle, and Klawock. Thanks to Emily Kwong of KCAW for the photo and audio.
