Ketchikan’s draft cruise ship calendar for 2018 is the topic of a public meeting Thursday afternoon.

The meeting will cover the overall cruise ship schedule and berth assignments, winter construction plans, and security updates. It starts at 1 p.m. Thursday in city council chambers.

The draft calendar shows the first ship arriving May 3rd, and the last ship departing on Sept. 29th. Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays will again be the busiest days.

The port expects to again exceed a million passengers in 2018.
