Because of the large number of candidates in this year’s municipal elections, KRBD asked candidates for Ketchikan City Council, Ketchikan Gateway Borough Assembly and Ketchikan’s school board to submit short statements introducing themselves to the community. Tune in to KRBD each weekday morning at about 8:45 a.m. through September 24 to hear the candidates on the air, or listen to each candidate’s pitch below. Candidates are listed alphabetically by last name and grouped by the race in which they’re running. Election Day for local races is October 6.
