“One Poem A Day Won’t Kill You” Schedule
Poems air on Morning Edition at approximately 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and at the end of the KRBD Evening Report (approximately 5:30 pm). Poems also air during locally hosted music programs.
April 1 – Bridgit Stearns reads “The True Practice of Yoga” by Phoebe Newman (with the poet’s permission).
April 2 – John McKay reads and original piece, “End Times.”
April 3 – Tawnya Dillard reads a poem she wrote – “Glimpse of You.”
April 4 – Doug Rhodes reads his poem, “Alaska Wild Salmon.”
April 5 – Jack Darrell reads “Laughter” by Robert Service.
April 6 – Elizabeth Franklin reads a poem she wrote, “And the Day I Woke Up.”
April 7 – Maria Dudzak reads her poem, “Wind Dancer.”
April 8 – Pat Tully reads a poem by Edgar Lee Masters, “George Graham,” from the Spoon River Anthology.
April 9 – Kathy Bolling reads the first stanza of “The Star Spangled Banner” by Francis Scott Key.
