Congress cut our funding – but YOU are keeping us going.

In a tremendous show of support for community radio, more than 280 members, listeners, and volunteers gave their time, talent, and financial resources to raise $77,773 for KRBD’s Radio-Active pledge drive in response to the federal government clawing back more than $172,000 in funding approved for this year.

The KRBD Board of Directors and staff want to express our most sincere gratitude for each and every person who showed up at the station, got on the air to share music and stories, answered the phones, and made generous donations in response to our urgent need. You make the magic happen at KRBD. Thank you for getting RADIO-ACTIVE!

And another round of gratitude for our challenge grant donors who provided matching funds to double the impact of donations! Thank you Ketchikan Indian Community and Tribal Health Clinic – KIC, Parnassus Books in Ketchikan, Kelley Create, KPU, Bernie’s, Raven’s View Rentals, KRBD Members Jon Young, Diane Liljegren, and James Mitchell, KRBD’s Board of Directors, our amazing on-air volunteers, and each and every one of you who helped out on July 26. We can’t thank you enough!
