Several Republican candidates for governor were in Ketchikan in early August to attend a Republican potluck and the Blueberry Arts Festival.
One of those was Bernadette Wilson, a political campaigner and Anchorage business owner who has never held public office. KRBD spoke with Wilson on Main Street during the festival, to find out why she decided to run, and her views on the Alaska Marine Highway System and the housing shortage.
KRBD also interviewed two other Republican candidates in Ketchikan Blueberry weekend – Matt Heilala and Shelley Hughes. You find those interviews on our website under Local News.
