
Ketchikan’s city and borough municipal elections are October 7. There are two candidates vying for one two-year seat on the board of the Ketchikan Gateway Borough School District.
School board members are responsible for overseeing the budget, adopting policies and hiring the superintendent — and that search for a new leader will be starting soon.
