RadioActive is KRBD’s Summer Member Drive! It kicks off on July 25 on-air and ends on August 15 with a PARTY in our PARKING LOT!
One year ago this month, federal funding was eliminated for public radio. This community rallied and raised nearly $78,000 to KRBD on the airwaves. We never went dark. Not for one day. Not for one minute.
And that’s because of people like YOU.
This summer we’re doing it again and we’re making it bigger and better than before!
On July 25 from 10am – 9pm stop by KRBD at any time to jump on the mic and tell the whole community what KRBD means to you! We’d love to hear from business owners, community leaders, fishermen, locals, seasonal workers, even cruise passengers who love public radio!
We’ll be celebrating our success on August 15 with RadioActive Community Day in the KRBD Parking Lot. There will be:
Live Radio All Day with special guests and visitors
Free Burgers and Hot Dogs
