Virgin Voyages, whose ship, The Brilliant Lady, has been sailing for it’s first season to Ketchikan all summer, has donated a 2026 Caribbean Sailing for two to KRBD’s Summer Member Drive!
Virgin Voyages is the award-winning, exclusively adult cruise line founded by Sir Richard Branson. Launched in 2021, Virgin Voyages delivers unforgettable, relaxing vacations at sea.
If you have made a gift to KRBD any time since July 1, or if you are a sustaining member, you are already entered in the drawing. Your support is already working for you. There is nothing more you need to do, except maybe start thinking about what you’d pack. Thank you for being a member.
If you haven’t given yet this summer, this is a lovely moment to join us by renewing your membership, making an additional gift, or becoming a member if you have never given before. Our RadioActive Summer Member Drive is off to a great start with more than 100 donors joining in.
Help us reach our goal, come party in our parking lot on August 15th at 11am when we draw for the winner, and maybe, just maybe you’ll be the one to win the kind of cruise every hard-working Southern Southeast Alaskan deserves!
A gift of any size enters you to win, and every dollar keeps this station doing what it has done for fifty years now: bringing you local news you don’t have to pay to listen to or read, emergency information when the weather turns, and the kind of music you only get when your neighbors are the ones choosing the records.
Entries close Thursday, August 13 and the drawing will be held on August 15 at our RadioActive Community Day at 1101 Copper Ridge Lane.
You can give online, call us at the station, or drop a gift in the mail with the letter you recently received. Make sure to note the deadlines! Better yet, come by and see us during business hours. We love visitors!

*No purchase or contribution necessary. One entry per person. Multiple entries will not increase the chances of winning. Entries may be made by making a donation to KRBD online, by phone, or by mail. Donations made by mail must be received by Thursday, August 13th. Donations made by phone must be taken by a KRBD staff member by 5pm Thursday August 13th. Donations made online must be received by 11:59 pm on Thursday August 13th. Entries may be made without donating by signing up at the station on Wednesday August 12th 11am-1pm. KRBD sustaining members and any donor who has given between July 1 and August 13th 2026 are automatically entered into the drawing. Drawing will take place on August 15, 2026 at KRBD.
