Jack Shay sentenced to 35 years, 17 to serve

Longtime Ketchikan resident and public official Jack Shay was sentenced Monday for multiple counts of possessing child pornography.

Shelter confiscates 50 cats

The Ketchikan Gateway Borough Animal Protection Department had two large cases recently. One involved the confiscation of nearly 50 cats from a woman who had been escorted off of Annette Island.
