It’s called the Twin Mountain II project. It’s expected to provide over 28 million board feet of timber from over 1,500 acres. 

In a special meeting Saturday, the Ketchikan City Council selected Glen Adams to oversee municipal government operations.

Public comment is accepted until May 15.

It includes a cut of over 50 staff members and the closure of two schools in an effort to cut back on costs and pay back millions in debt.
