Feds appeal ruling that nixed old growth logging on Prince of Wales Island
U.S. government attorneys are appealing to the 9th circuit after environmentalists successfully challenged the environmental review of Tongass National Forest timber sales. The Prince of Wales Landscape Level Analysis included more than 23,000 acres of old growth to be clear cut on the island.
