Feds demand armed backup to keep Prince Rupert ferry terminal open
Alaska Marine Highway System has until Oct. 1 to secure armed backup for U.S. customs agents working in Prince Rupert’s ferry terminal. The state plans to contract with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to provide security for U.S. agents.
