Four Prince of Wales Island residents face drug charges after they were arrested last week following a search at a home near the Craig School.

According to Alaska State Troopers, the Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs task force, troopers, the Craig Police Department and the FBI worked together to serve the search warrant Thursday morning.

Following the search, 26-year-old Samantha Joy Bueno of Craig was charged with third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance for allegedly selling methamphetamine within 500 feet of a school zone.

26-year-old Cathia Rose Demmert of Craig faces charges of fourth-degree controlled-substance misconduct and disorderly conduct.

26-year-old Belinda Nicole Stahl of Craig was charged with third- and fourth-degree controlled substance misconduct.

27-year-old Shane Kelly Fitzgerald of Craig was charged with third- and fourth-degree controlled substance misconduct. He also faces charges of resisting arrest, assault on a police officer, and violating his probation.

All four defendants were arraigned Friday in Craig District Court. Their next court appearance is April 1st.
