Ketchikan was once called “The Wickedest Town in the West.” That history is explored in KRBD’s newest podcast “Rain Stories.”

Ray Troll, Jack Darrell, and other hosts interview guests about the infamous history of Creek Street, the legendary ladies of the line, and other characters.

The first episode features historian and longtime former mayor of Ketchikan Dave Kiffer as he sets the scene of Creek Street in its heyday, the many “sporting women” that called it home, and why Ketchikan broke so many gold miners’ hearts.
