RurAL CAP seeks senior mentors and companions

Efforts are underway to kick off an Elder Mentors and Senior Companions program in Ketchikan, Saxman and possibly on Prince of Wales Island. Ashley Snyder, Volunteer Coordinator for the RurAl CAP AmeriCorps’ seniors program in Southeast Alaska, is holding two Air-Dry Clay workshops for those 55 and, where seniors can make a craft and learn more about how to become a mentor or companion.
