Two teenagers died after Alaska State Troopers say their dirt bikes collided with each other in Hollis, on Prince of Wales Island.
Troopers say 18-year-old Greyer Schwegel and 17-year-old Paul Lingley IV were riding dirt bikes on the Hollis Highway Tuesday evening when they collided. Troopers say two helmets were found at the scene.
Despite lifesaving efforts, the teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene.
Hollis is a remote community of fewer than a hundred people on the east coast of the island.
GoFundMe pages have been created for the families of each teenager to help cover unexpected expenses. You can donate to Schwegel’s family and Lingley’s family by following the links.
