The Ketchikan Public Library recently received word that it will be featured in a national magazine’s special design edition.

State rejects Revilla school reorganization request

Superintendent Robert Boyle will tell the Ketchikan Gateway Borough School Board during its regular meeting Wednesday that a request to reorganize Revilla Alternative School into a K-12 blended program has been rejected by the state.

Business competition open for Southeast residents

The competition “aims to support business ideas” in Southeast Alaska that promote employment, positive socio-economic impacts, and sustainable resource use. Twelve semifinalists will be selected from all the applicants who submit business ideas by September 16th.
