Nationally syndicated radio host Sergio Mielniczenko arrived in Ketchikan on Friday to host a live show on KRBD and attend a local concert.
Mielniczenko hosts and produces the NPR-distributed Brazilian Hour, which KRBD airs on Saturday mornings. He’s also a fan of local singer Stephanie Patton, who is performing for a fundraising event on Sunday evening.
KRBD’s Leila Kheiry talked with Mielniczenko about his first-ever visit to Alaska. Here’s a portion of their discussion.
