On Wednesday, the board will consider a resolution that states the district “joins the Organized Village of Saxman and the Ketchikan Indian Community in affirmation and support of Indian Education.”

Metlakatla awarded $50K federal housing grant

The Alaska Congressional Delegation recently announced grants to various programs in Alaska. Among the grants was a $50,000 Housing Preservation grant to the Metlakatla Housing Authority.
