Ship sails south after damaging Ketchikan dock

The cruise ship Infinity is on its way south for repairs. The 90,000-ton ship crashed into a Ketchikan dock Friday afternoon, sustaining scrapes and a small hole above the waterline.

Two rescued from fishing boat near POW

Two people were rescued Wednesday from a sinking fishing boat southwest of Ketchikan. The U.S. Coast Guard says the fishing vessel Velvet ran aground and began to take on water in McLean Arm, in southeast Prince of Wales Island.
