Police say doctor’s death ‘suspicious,’ theft charges filed against friend

The death of Ketchikan doctor Eric Garcia earlier this week is now considered suspicious after police learned the friend who reported Garcia missing on March 27 had allegedly stolen money and valuable items from Garcia’s home.

STIP amendment includes $94 million for Gravina access

‘Baby box’ bentwood box donated to PeaceHealth

A bentwood box design used to create baby boxes for infants born at PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center has become an actual bentwood box, and soon will be on display at the local hospital.
